【报告摘要】
The analysis of electromagnetic scattering from open-ended waveguide cavities, as simple models of structures like aircraft engine intakes and surface cracks, has attracted much attention for predicting and reducing target radar cross section (RCS). Many studies on cavity scattering using high-frequency ray techniques and numerical methods exist, but their solutions are not uniformly valid for all cavity dimensions. This talk will present a rigorous radar cross section (RCS) study of two parallel-plate waveguide cavities with material loading using the Wiener–Hopf technique, focusing on a terminated semi-infinite waveguide (Cavity I) and a terminated finite waveguide (Cavity II). Numerical results are given for different physical parameters, and the far-field scattering characteristics of the cavities are discussed in detail.
